part 1: Groundwork

We set the stage in the first hour. You’ll feel more balanced, more consistent, and ready to approach every shot with a clear plan and purpose.

  • Cue selection: How to pick a straight, solid cue that feels right in your hands
  • Chalking: Because there is a wrong way
  • Stance and alignment: Stay balanced and stroke straight
  • Shot sequence: Everything you need to do before you shoot
  • Aiming: Simple strategies to help your eyes find the right line
  • Pool shot geometry: Learn basic terms so you can talk and think like a player
part 2: Stroke mechanics EXERCISES

Establish better habits into your muscle memory. You’ll spot flaws, clean them up, and start building the kind of stroke that makes every shot feel intentional.

  • Over the Spots: A deceptively simple drill to check your center ball aim, sharpen your speed control, and reveal any hidden flaws in your stroke—especially at higher speeds
  • Drill from the Rail: How sharp is your long-distance aim? A great way to test your accuracy and stroke consistency under pressure.
  • Standard Cueing Drill: Can you bring it all together? This drill combines aim, stroke, and cue ball control—helping you reinforce solid fundamentals with every shot.
PART 3: Position Play

This section is all about understanding cue ball behavior. You’ll learn how to control it, predict it, and finally stop being surprised by where it ends up.

  • Straight Shots: Master the core building blocks of pool—stop, follow, and draw—and see how these simple techniques can set you up perfectly for your next shot.
  • Angled Shots: Learn how cut angles influence cue ball paths so you can stop guessing and start predicting exactly where the cue ball will go.
  • Tangent Line: Discover the natural path the cue ball takes after contact and how adjusting it can make running out a rack feel effortless.
  • Side Spin (English): Understand how English affects cue ball behavior and how to use it with intent.
  • Cue Ball Effects: Deflection, swerve, throw, skid—sometimes the shot goes wrong even when you did everything right. We’ll unpack these sneaky factors so they stop sabotaging your game.
Group Option: $25 per additional player + table charge ($8/hour per person)

Invite your friends for a group session! Up to four students can join the course, with each additional student costing $25, plus a table fee of $8 per person per hour. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn and improve together in a fun and supportive environment.

Split Session Option: $20

Split the course into two separate sessions (a two-hour session and a one-hour session). This allows you to absorb the material at your own pace, practice between sessions, and better fit your busy schedule.

part 4: Video Stroke Analysis

Connect feel with form by seeing your game from the outside in. Because understanding what’s really happening in your stroke is the first step to real progress.

  • New Perspectives: See yourself shoot from multiple angles—side, rear, and more. Most players are surprised by what they discover.
  • Spot Hidden Flaws: Catch subtle issues like unintended body movement, steering, or poor follow-through that you might never notice otherwise.
  • Targeted Feedback: Get clear, personalized tips to clean up your stroke and make your improvements stick.
